Silk Road was a website and a social network where people bought drugs, illegal weapons and stolen credit card information.
But in December of 2013, it suddenly shut down, and now the FBI and a team of investigators are looking for Ulbrich.
The Associated Press reports that FBI Special Agent Ryan M. Smith said in a statement that the bureau is seeking the assistance of anyone with information about Ulbrithsts whereabouts.
He said investigators have also been in touch with Ulbriths associates in Mexico.
“The U.A.E. has been the subject of a significant amount of international investigation by the FBI for their role in the Silk Road and its related operations, which we have aggressively pursued,” Smith said.
“The individuals who have cooperated with the FBI are being asked to come forward.”
